On September 12, the long-awaited Professional Fundraisers Summit Heroes’ Backbone, organized by ISAR Ednannia, will happen. Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Tabletochki Charity Foundation Svitlana Pugach will be among the star speakers at the Summit. 
Under her leadership, the funds raised by the foundation increased 2.5 times. Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Svitlana and her team focused on securing funding from international donors − private and corporate. The foundation deepened its cooperation with international donors from the EU, UK, US, Canada, and Australia. Svitlana is a speaker at major global industry conferences and a jury member for the Effie Awards Ukraine − the world's most prestigious marketing communications award.
"In a time of unprecedented challenges for our country, the Ukrainian civil society shows incredible resilience and strength. However, to keep moving forward and ensure the long-term sustainability of these organizations, it is crucial to diversify funding sources and tap into new markets. National fundraising resources are decreasing, but the world is still full of opportunities," says Svitlana Pugach.
At the Summit, during the workshop, Svitlana will discuss why international fundraising is essential and how it can help Ukrainian foundations ensure their sustainability and effectively expand funding sources.
