On Thursday, March 27, from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM, a Public Presentation of the Providing Financial Support as Small Grants for Social Services to Families with Children and Children and/or Early Intervention Services in Ukraine Project will occur.
During the event, you will learn about:
- The reform of the social service system, with a special focus on the role of civil society organizations (CSOs).
- Details on how to apply for the grant competition to provide social services.
- Application requirements and guidelines, including registration in the official social service provider registry.

- Oksana Zholnovychб Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine.
- Andrew Ockenden, Development Director, British Embassy in Ukraine (TBC).
- Jean Choi, Head of the Child Protection Section, UNICEF.
The event will be held offline in Kyiv and online via Zoom (registration required). Additionally, it will be live-streamed on ISAR Ednannia’s YouTube and Facebook pages and the Social Protection Fund for Persons with Disabilities Facebook page.
We invite representatives of regional and local authorities, social service providers, especially from CSOs and charitable foundations, as well as those who are already providing social services or plan to do so.
For offline participation, 80 participants will be selected based on pre-registration, with priority given to CSOs and charitable foundations that provide or plan to provide services in Kyiv and the Kyiv oblast. Register for the event. Registration deadline: March 25, 12:00 PM.
Selected participants will receive event details via email the day after registration’s deadline. Please ensure that the email address provided in your registration form is correct. For offline participants, travel expenses will be reimbursed, except for first-class and luxury-class train tickets.
For participants from the following oblasts involved in the Project – Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Chernivtsi – separate training sessions and offline meetings will be organized to explain the application process for the Project.
The project is being implemented by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 40, dated January 17, 2025, On the Implementation of a Joint Project with UNICEF Regarding the Provision of Financial Assistance in the Form of Small Grants for Social Services for Families with Children and/or Early Intervention Services.
This event has been funded by the UK Government under the Social Protection for Inclusion, Resilience, Innovation, and Transformation (SPIRIT) project, implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, the Fund for Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities, and UNICEF Ukraine, with administration by ISAR Ednannia.
