On October 29 at 2:00 PM, we invite you to the presentation of the study “Civil Society in Ukraine During Wartime 2022–2025, prepared by ISAR Ednannia’s partner, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology.
The study examines how Ukraine’s civil society has evolved over the past three years of full-scale war and what factors will shape its future.
Format: in-person participation upon registration, as well as live streaming on the Facebook event page and ISAR Ednannia’s YouTube channel.
Registration is open until 10:00 AM on October 28, 2025.
Please note that the number of places is limited, and the exact venue will be shared with selected participants in advance.
During the event, you will learn:
- Key findings of the consolidated report by Ukrainian CSOs and charities on the state of civil society.
- How has the war transformed the sector from an auxiliary to a system-shaping one?
- Why are investments in people — education, youth, and healthcare — a matter of national security?
- The three main challenges that will define further development (finance, human resources, and trust).
- What civil society organizations expect from the government, donors, and business?
After the presentation, participants will have an opportunity to discuss the study’s findings with Yosyf Zisels, civic leader, human rights defender, and former dissident.
The event will be useful for:
- Leaders and teams of civil society and charitable organizations.
- Representatives of donor and international institutions.
- Public officials working with civil society.
- Researchers and journalists who are analyzing wartime transformations.
The event is organized with the support of the Askold and Dir Fund as a part of the Strong Civil Society of Ukraine - a Driver towards Reforms and Democracy project, implemented by ISAR Ednannia, funded by Norway and Sweden.
