On March 27, 2024, a public presentation of the report of the comprehensive sociological research «Civil Society in Ukraine in the Context of War» will take place.

The research covers period since 2022 to 2023 and thoroughly analyzes the dynamics of civil society organizations' activities starting from beginning of the full-scale russian invasion. In particular, the research focuses on the experience of broader adaptation of public and charitable organizations to completely new working environment.

Also, the report has target focus on indicators, like: trust in volunteers and civil society organizations, quantitative indicators and sector dynamics, areas of activity of civil society organizations and their access to finances, channels of communication with key stakeholders, main challenges, and key plans for 2024. The report has separate analyze of the main topics and lines where CSOs and volunteers were mentioned by media.

After the research presentation, also, will be discussion among experts in order to discuss the results of the report and make forecast toward further dynamics in development of the Ukrainian civil society sector this year.

Among the invited panel speakers are:

  • Oleksandra Azarkhina, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine;
  • Yaroslav Yurchyshyn, Member of Parliament of Ukraine and Head of the Committee on Freedom of Speech;
  • Oleksandra Romantsova, Executive Director of Center for Civil Liberties;
  • Lena Rozvadovska, Co-founder and chairman of 'Voices of Children' fund;
  • Volodymyr Sheyhus, Executive Director at ISAR Ednannia.

We invite media representatives and members of civil and/or volunteer organizations to take part in public presentation.
