WEBSITE Circle Гранти 1 ENG

The competition aims to support Ukrainian civil society and charitable organisations working in the field of mental health and psychosocial support, helping people and communities overcome the consequences of the war and develop sustainable models of care in Ukraine.

The competition includes three types of grants:

Small Grants — up to UAH 1,250,000
For local civil society organisations working directly with people and communities. The estimated project duration is 12 months.

Medium Grants — up to UAH 2,500,000
For regional organisations with experience in implementing projects and developing local support systems. The estimated project duration is 12 months.

Strategic Grants — up to UAH 2,500,000
For national CSOs, research CSOs, and consortia working on systemic changes in the field of mental health, psychosocial support, and awareness-raising. Within the first wave, strategic grants will be supported only under Priorities 1 and 4.

The competition has five key priorities:

  1. Psychoeducation and resilience-building — supporting people, families, and communities in understanding mental health, coping with stress, and seeking help in a timely manner.
  2. Professionalisation of the sector — strengthening the capacity of organisations and professionals to provide quality, ethical, and sustainable mental health and psychosocial support services.
  3. Social connections and community cohesion — restoring trust, mutual support, and social ties in communities.
  4. Knowledge generation and tools for practice — developing research, methodologies, training programmes, practical tools, and resources for the sector.
  5. Platforms, safe spaces, and local care hubs — developing physical and digital spaces that provide people with access to support and strengthen local ecosystems of care. Construction and renovation works, as well as the furnishing or fitting-out of premises, are not eligible for funding under this priority.

A cross-cutting priority of the competition is continuity and depth of support. Preference will be given to initiatives that go beyond one-off activities and create conditions for long-term support for people and communities, the development of referral pathways, cooperation between service providers, and the sustainability of results after grant funding ends.

Civil society and charitable organisations, local and regional CSOs providing psychosocial services, as well as national CSOs, research CSOs, and consortia working in the field of mental health and psychosocial support are invited to apply.

Up to 20 organisations will be supported within the first wave of the competition. The application deadline is 8 July 2026, 23:59.
