The Charitable Foundation Revival of the Communities of the South supports residents of Kherson oblast affected by the war, providing food, hygiene products, children’s supplies, and assistance to critical infrastructure workers and local communities rebuilding their lives.
With support from ISAR Ednannia’s organizational development grant, the foundation developed strategic, operational, and fundraising plans that strengthened internal coordination and set a clear course for sustainable growth. A facilitated session brought together team members from different cities, helping them develop a shared vision for the organization’s future and align on their next steps.
During the fundraising strategy process, the team identified key priorities for resource mobilization and mapped potential partnership opportunities with businesses and international programs. These plans became practical tools for systematic management, transparent communication, and more effective fundraising.
As a result, the foundation made significant strides in its institutional development. Thanks to the grant, the team secured two new major international donors for its communities, opening opportunities for larger-scale humanitarian and recovery projects across southern Ukraine.
This story shows how a local organization, once focused mainly on emergency response, has grown into a trusted partner capable of attracting international support for long-term recovery.
This project is made possible with the support of Civil Society Home as a part of the Strong Civil Society of Ukraine - a Driver towards Reforms and Democracy project, implemented by ISAR Ednannia, funded by Norway and Sweden.
