The jury of the competition of journalistic works on the best coverage of the theme of Ukraine's recovery and European integration among journalists of regional media and local publications "Rebuilding Ukraine: Journey to Unity" has determined the winners. From among the 61 entries submitted to the competition, the jury identified one best entry in each of the four categories.
In the category "Best Analytical Material 'Changes in Focus,'" the material "Ruined but Whole History. What Awaits Mykolaiv Lyceum No. 60?" (author - Yuliia Boichenko), published in the "NikVesti" publication (Mykolaiv oblast) on April 2, 2024.
In the category "Best Report 'Objective View,'" the material "Novoselivka: How People Live in the Modular Town and Who Has Already Received New Housing" (author - Nataliia Naidiuk), published in the "City of Chernihiv Website - 0462" publication (Chernihiv Oblast) on March 16, 2024.
In the category "Best Material by a Young Journalist 'Young Shark,'" the material "Saying Goodbye Will Be Painful, But We Are Ready. What Awaits the Bombed-Out Building of the 'Korabelnyi' Palace of Culture in Mykolaiv" (author - Alisa Melikadamyian), published in the "NikVesti" publication (Mykolaiv Oblast) on March 12, 2024.
In the category "Special Nomination 'Public Impact,'" the material "In Sumy Region, a Pensioner Installed Windmills on His Garden and Provides Household with Electricity" (authorial team: journalist Yevheniia Pavlova, video operator Vadym Bondariev, and creative team of the State Broadcasting Company "Aktsent" (director - Hanna Diagleiva)), published on the official YouTube channel of the Aktsent News Shostka State Broadcasting Company (Sumy Oblast).
In the category "Best Information-Analytical Block 'Visualization of Transformations,'" the winner was not determined by the jury, as only one entry was submitted for the category, which was disqualified by the jury for not meeting the competition's conditions.
Therefore, ISAR Ednannia decided to award a special prize to the work "To Rebuild Kharkiv, Community Development is Necessary: Conversation with Local Urbanist Pavlo Khramov" (author - Daria Lobanok) for the best coverage of perspectives on the reconstruction of Ukrainian cities with public involvement. The work was published on the independent media platform from Kharkiv "Hwara Media" (Kharkiv Oblast) on April 10, 2024.
Each of the winners in their respective categories and the author awarded the ISAR Ednannia special prize will receive a monetary reward.
