According to a sociological study conducted by Gradus Research as part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program, 71% of Ukrainians experience stress or constant anxiety, which significantly affects their quality of life and overall well-being.

ISAR Ednannia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Policy, is initiating a webinar series on Resilience Centers.

The Resilience Center is a friendly, barrier-free space where every community member may seek support, receive resilience-building services, and access other support programs available in the community.

For webinars, experienced psychologists, social workers, architects, designers, communication specialists, financiers, and other experts will provide detailed guidance on how to start planning and implementing a Resilience Center in your community. Speakers will also share their experiences in providing psychological support, communicating with visitors, budgeting for the Centers, and creating interactive spaces, particularly in cooperation with civil society organizations (CSOs).

On the first webinar at the Civil Society Home, architects Sofiia Brem and Marina Melnyk from the Urban Bureau Big City Lab presented the guide to creating a barrier-free space of resilience centers for providing psychological support and volunteering. The guide contains practical advice on space organization. You can watch the webinar on the ISAR Ednannia YouTube channel; the guide is available here.

Resilience Centers are a pilot project of the Ministry of Social Policy. They are part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program "How Are You?" initiated by First Lady Olena Zelenska. The Guide to Creating Resilience Centers was developed by the Urban Bureau Big City Lab at the request of the Ministry of Social Policy, with financial support from the agro-industrial holding Astarta-Kyiv.

The webinar series is made possible by the generous support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) within the Ukraine Civil Society Sectoral Support Activity implemented by ISAR Ednannia in partnership with the Ukrainian Center of Independent Political Research (UCIPR) and Centre for Democracy and Rule of Law (CEDEM).
