On August 22, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine conducted the VII Annual International Veteran Forum "Ukraine. Veterans. Unity" in Kyiv. ISAR Ednannia was an official partner of the Forum.

At the event, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the decree signing for the government to approve the National Strategy for Veteran Policy and the Strategy for the Transition System from Military Service to Civilian Life.

ISAR Ednannia supports the veteran movement and will contribute to developing crucial documents announced by the President. The manager of ISAR Ednannia's Civil Society Home platform Anastasiia Buriak presented opportunities for cooperation for veteran organizations at the Forum. She highlighted that ISAR Ednannia currently supports 42 veteran projects. These projects focus on the veteran centers and providing psychological support to veterans and their families. ISAR Ednannia implements 16 of these projects in cooperation with the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation under the ‘Varto: Ednannia’ competition. Each project receives approximately 2.5 million hryvnias in funding, with ISAR Ednannia specifically supporting the institutional capacity of these organizations.

"The Civil Society Home of ISAR Ednannia offers veteran organizations grants for organizational development, expert support from verified organizational development professionals, a wealth of research on the development of Ukrainian civil society in its analytical library, and free online courses and webinars to strengthen the capacity of veteran and pro-veteran organizations. The aim of all of this is to become a reliable support for those returning from war and actively engaging in civilian life," said Anastasiia Buriak during her speech at the panel discussion "International Support: Opportunities for Developing Veteran Potential" at the Forum.
