Освіта Війна Дослідження 2024 англ 3

According to the UN, Russia carried out 243 attacks on schools in Ukraine in 2023, placing Ukraine at the top of the global list for such assaults. As of the summer of 2024, 47.6% of schools were destroyed or damaged by the war in the eastern oblasts of Ukraine, and this reached 23.4% in the southern oblasts. Additionally, nearly 1 million students and 7,000 teachers are currently abroad.

The media project Kunsht and the analytical center OsvitAnalityka, with the support of ISAR Ednannia within the framework of the Ukraine Civil Society Sectoral Support Activity, conducted a study Education During the War: Experience of Ukrainian Schools. The research analyzes models of adapting the education process amid wartime conditions. This includes metro-schools and underground schools for hybrid learning in dangerous regions and relocated boarding schools that preserve student and teaching communities while ensuring quality education during evacuation. Such experience is unique and deserves the attention of both national and international educational communities.

"The development of a data-driven culture is important. At ISAR Ednannia, we create opportunities for CSOs to be active participants in this process. We thank the Kunsht team for their initiative and collaboration on this research. Analyzing the educational process in wartime conditions is crucial not only for the present but also for strategic planning for the future," noted Anna Ostrikova, Head of Grant and Development Programs at ISAR Ednannia, during the presentation of the study.
