The Civil Society Development Forum (with)STAND will feature a variety of art exhibitions. One of them is the graphic art exhibition Art for Freedom: Unseen Civilians, telling the tragic stories of Ukrainian civilians kidnapped and unlawfully detained by Russian authorities. This exhibition is presented by the Common-Sense Communications NGO in partnership with the PR Army NGO.
The project highlights the fates of individuals deprived of freedom in temporarily occupied territories accused of fabricated crimes. The exhibition will showcase graphic works of illustrators from Ukraine, Germany, Portugal, and France, each depicting a specific story of Ukrainian hostages' struggle for survival and resilience even in captivity.
Another exhibition will feature the photo series Chronicles of Evacuation from the almanac of the charitable foundation East-SOS. These photos are from Dnipro, Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk, Chasiv Yar, Bakhmut, Lyman, Avdiivka, Kherson, Huliaipole, Uman, Sumy and Kherson oblasts. The images capture the lives of rescued individuals whose stories often remain outside the public eye. Each photograph reveals the real work of the evacuation crews in action.
