In Lviv oblast, the renovated building of the Staryi Sambir Youth Center has been officially opened. Thanks to the joint efforts of ISAR Ednannia and UNICEF Ukraine, in cooperation with the Youth Platform NGO, the Initiative Platform Teplitsa, and in partnership with the Staryi Sambir City Council, the updated Youth Center has become a new hub of community activity.
“The Youth Center first opened in 2023, and now, with the support of UNICEF Ukraine, it has gained new energy for development and for engaging the local youth. In a short timeframe, ISAR Ednannia, in collaboration with the Staryi Sambir City Council, renovated the building and purchased equipment and technical supplies. The center is already operating actively, and the provided support will strengthen its activities, ensuring its autonomy and sustainability even in challenging times, including during power outages,” says Iryna Bieliaeva, ISAR Ednannia’s Partnerships Development Coordinator.
The premises are now not only comfortable for youth gatherings but also fully equipped for hosting educational, cultural, and social events.
The center’s renovation was carried out in collaboration with the Youth Platform NGO under the Building Youth Potential in the Western Oblasts of Ukraine Project, implemented by ISAR Ednannia with support from UNICEF Ukraine.
