The panel discussion With the Sword, We Claim Our Rights at the XIII Civil Society Development Forum (with)STAND focused on the role of the military as a cornerstone of national survival during a prolonged war. Organized in partnership with the Come Back Alive Initiatives Center, it provided a platform to explore strategies for bolstering Ukraine’s defense in the face of modern challenges.
Participants included representatives from the military, academia, and business sectors: commander of the 12th Special Operations Brigade Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine Arsen ‘Lemko’ Dmytryk, professor at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and chair of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation Natalia Kryvda, Deputy Director of the Come Back Alive Foundation Oleh Karpenko, analyst at the Foundation Mykola Bielieskov, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digital Transformations, Digital Development and Digitalization Kateryna Chernohorenko, and Deputy CEO of MHP Yurii Melnyk. Akhtem Seitablaiev moderated the discussion.
