What Did ISAR Ednannia Support Within the Competition?

🔹Advocacy and Policy Change
Four organizations will implement projects aimed at advocacy campaigns to introduce changes to regulatory documents in the areas of social protection, healthcare services, and veteran rehabilitation for both veterans and their family members. The focus is also on increasing veterans’ participation in local decision-making and promoting respect for Ukraine’s defenders through public awareness campaigns.

🔹Veteran Recovery and Family Support
Two projects are focused on recovery through social engagement of veterans, families of fallen defenders, and families of service members who are in captivity or missing in action. Specifically, the projects include the development of a training program for veteran support specialists and the creation of safe community spaces for veterans and their families.

🔹Research and Policy Impact
One of the projects focuses on studying the level of satisfaction among veterans and their families. The findings will be shared with local authorities to help improve relevant public policies.

🔹Organizational Development of CSOs
Five organizations received support to strengthen their institutional capacity through the development of strategic fundraising and communication strategies. Three of them are combining this area with the implementation of projects in advocacy, rehabilitation, or research.
