On May 1, 2025, a strategic meeting took place to develop proposals for the new Action Plan for the implementation of the Open Government Partnership Initiative for 2025–2026.
The meeting brought together 25 representatives of civil society organizations, government agencies, and international organizations working in areas such as youth and veterans' policy, recovery and humanitarian response, social policy, accessibility, and more.
Participants focused on identifying key challenges that can be addressed through open government tools.
The outcomes of the meeting will form the basis of the new Action Plan and help concentrate efforts on the changes that are most relevant to society, as well as on solutions that could strengthen open governance.
Department of Information and Public Communication of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine organized the strategic meeting in cooperation with the Coordination Council on the Implementation of the Open Government Partnership Initiative, with support from ISAR Ednannia and the Askold and Dir Fund operating under the Strong Civil Society of Ukraine – a Driver Towards Reforms and Democracy Project, implemented by ISAR Ednannia and funded by Norway and Sweden.

- The Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has published an indicative schedule for preparing the new Action Plan for implementing the Open Government Partnership Initiative.
- Written proposals for the new Action Plan are currently being collected.
