The SOLVE: Strengthening Organizations for Long-Term Impact Project, implemented by ISAR Ednannia with the support of Save the Children in Ukraine and the Humanitarian Leadership Academy, has concluded. This initiative became a true catalyst for change for 20 local civil society organizations operating in the humanitarian sector in the frontline and de-occupied territories of Ukraine.

Following the full-scale invasion, most organizations faced challenges that left little room for strategic planning and team capacity building. The SOLVE Project helped them return to a systematic approach and organizational development.

In the course of the Project, we:

  • Conducted a comprehensive organizational capacity assessment and developed tailored recommendations for each organization.
  • Provided over 3,500 hours of consultations, mentoring, and training, engaging more than 15 experts.
  • Supported the development of nearly 80 key documents that streamlined the daily operations of CSOs and outlined new pathways for growth.
  • Organized four Organizational Development Schools and four thematic online trainings.
  • Certified 52 organizations' representatives according to the Sphere standards.
  • Created a strategic guide on Organizational Development − Mission (Im)Possible — a Strategic Guide for Non-Profit Organizations.

Project participants strengthened their organizational capacity and adopted a holistic approach to development, learning to work effectively with plans, collaborate with experts, and implement systemic changes. Most importantly, they recognized the value of integrating organizational development into their daily work.

This project proved that investing in the internal resilience of organizations is key to ensuring their long-term impact and ability to provide support where it is needed most.

We sincerely thank all partners and participants for their fruitful cooperation!
