Recovery and Development Consultants is a training program of the EU Unity4Community Project, designed to deepen participants’ understanding of recovery and community development processes, master project management and participatory facilitation, foster partnerships between authorities and civil society, and implement innovative European approaches.
Our goal is to build a community of consultants, professionals who will become trusted partners to communities, helping to design and implement meaningful change.
Motivated, engaged, and active professionals with experience or aspirations to work at the local level are invited to participate. Applicants should:
- Have proven experience in participating in or implementing development and recovery projects at the local level.
- Work in civil society organizations, local self-government bodies, educational, cultural, or business initiatives.
- Be involved in community development processes or aspire to grow in this field.
- Be ready to take responsibility, collaborate with others, and drive change.
Developed within the EU Unity4Community Project, implemented by ISAR Ednannia and funded by the European Union, the program will run in three annual cycles from 2025 to 2027. It will include several levels of in-person and online learning.
Participation in the program opens up a range of opportunities for graduates:
- Implement your projects and advise others — apply the knowledge and skills you gain in real practice.
- Access to a grant competition — an opportunity to submit your ideas for funding.
- Publication of your profile in the Recovery and Development Marketplace on the Civil Society Home platform is a chance to be noticed by communities and organizations looking for consultants to support their initiatives.
- Methodological and informational support from ISAR Ednannia — you become part of a supported professional community.
- Participation in a Training of Trainers (February 2026) — for those who want to teach others, facilitate local processes, and build community capacity (separate registration required).
