ISAR Ednannia and the Askold and Dir Fund, funded by Norway and Sweden, announce a competition aimed at finding systemic solutions for sustainable recovery.

The goal of the competition is to support strong civil society organizations active at the national level and capable of developing, testing, and implementing solutions to restore key areas of public life, rebuild human potential, and strengthen trust between civil society and the state.

Priority areas of the competition:

  • Education: Restoring educational processes, integrating children, cooperation between schools, communities, and the state.
  • Social sphere: Support for vulnerable groups, development of cooperation within communities.
  • Healthcare: Adapting healthcare system, ensuring equal access to services.
  • Culture, memory, and identity: Preserving historical memory, developing cultural infrastructure.
  • Security: Addressing mine threats and violence, development of cooperation with security sectors.
  • Cross-cutting solutions: Green transformation, inclusion, human rights protection, anti-corruption integrity, gender equality, digital innovations.

Who can submit a concept?

CSOs with official registration, at least three years of project implementation experience, financial capacity (an annual budget of at least 5 million UAH), analytical and managerial potential, experience cooperating with state or municipal structures, and readiness to share knowledge with other CSOs.

Deadline for concept submissions: August 11, 2025, 17:00.

This grant competition is held within the framework of the Norwegian-Swedish Askold and Dir Fund, operating under the Strong Civil Society of Ukraine – a Driver Towards Reforms and Democracy Project, implemented by ISAR Ednannia and funded by Norway and Sweden.
