ISAR Ednannia announces a new grant competition for civil society and charitable organizations that have been working for at least two years in key areas for the country: reforms and democracy, security and defense, human rights protection, and documentation of war crimes.
Support for projects outside these areas is possible only in exceptional cases where the initiative has strategic significance, high impact potential, and a clear link to the competition’s purpose. An organizational development component is a mandatory part of every project.
Grants ranging from 1 to 2.5 million UAH are intended to strengthen institutional capacity and ensure the continuity of organizational operations. Funding may cover operational expenses, staff salaries, equipment purchases, and organizational development activities.
Priority will be given to initiatives that advance systemic reforms, enhance civil engagement with the security sector, counter hybrid threats, and document war crimes while protecting human rights.
Applications are accepted until 23:59 on October 22, 2025.

The competition is implemented by the Askold and Dir Fund, operating under the Strong Civil Society of Ukraine – a Driver Towards Reforms and Democracy Project, implemented by ISAR Ednannia and funded by Norway and Sweden.
