In October 2025, the ISAR Ednannia team conducted a series of monitoring visits to organizations that received grant support under the project on Providing Financial Assistance in the Form of Small Grants for Social Services to Families with Children and Children and/or Early Intervention Services in Ukraine.
The purpose of the visits was to assess the progress of project implementation, review the quality of services provided, collect feedback from the implementing teams, and identify any additional needs to ensure the sustainability of social services in communities.
On October 21, the team visited the Charitable Foundation Early Intervention Institute in Kharkiv. The organization provides early intervention services for children at risk of developmental disorders and systematically supports their families.
On October 22, a visit took place to the NGO “Your Helping Hand” in Pidhorodne, Dnipropetrovsk region. The organization implements several social services aimed at strengthening resilience and providing social support to families with children facing difficult life circumstances.
On October 23, the team visited Poltava, where the Caritas Poltava operates. Its specialists provide two key services: social support for families with children in difficult life circumstances and early intervention services.
During these visits, the ISAR Ednannia team met with project managers, social workers, psychologists, and early intervention specialists — people who help families and children overcome daily challenges. The team inspected service facilities, observed how organizations create safe and inclusive spaces, and heard numerous stories about challenges, creative solutions, and small daily victories.
These monitoring visits demonstrate that behind every service there are not only reports and indicators but, above all, professional teams who transform grant support into tangible results: a child receives help, a family gains support, and a community gets access to professional services.
Through partnerships between state institutions, civil society organizations, and international donors, we are consistently building the foundation for a sustainable and inclusive social protection system that brings assistance closer to every family.
More information about the Small Grants Program is available on ISAR Ednnannia’s website and on the website of the Fund for Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities.
These visits once again confirmed that the Small Grants Program acts as a catalyst for strengthening local ecosystems of social services, building the capacity of service providers, helping scale proven practices, and making support for families with children more accessible and continuous.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all partners, experts, and service providers for their professionalism, care, and trust.
These visits were funded by the UK Government under the SPIRIT project, implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, the Fund for Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities, and UNICEF Ukraine, with administration by ISAR Ednannia.
