The Askold and Dir Fund, administered by ISAR Ednannia and funded by Norway and Sweden, has announced the winners of two grant competitions aimed at finding systemic and practical solutions for Ukraine’s sustainable recovery: Towards Life: A Country in Action and Towards Life: Communities in Action.
Towards Life: A Country in Action Grant Competition focused on supporting strong civil society organizations working at the national level, capable of developing, testing, and implementing solutions for restoring key areas of social life: education, social services, healthcare, culture, security, and cross-cutting reforms.
Winners of this competition: NGO Ukrainian Independent Center for Political Research, All-Ukrainian Association of Local Self-Government Bodies Ukrainian Association of District and Regional Councils, Charitable Organization International Charitable Foundation Friends of Ukraine Foundation, NGO Center for Fiscal Policy Research, and NGO Fight for Rights.
Towards Life: Communities in Action Grant Competition supports initiatives of civil society organizations implementing practical projects at the local level to restore social processes, human potential, and everyday life in communities affected by the war. The competition includes six priority areas: education, social services, healthcare, culture and identity, security, and cross-cutting solutions for sustainable recovery.
