On November 12-16, a basic-level training for trainers of the MIST program took place in Kyiv as part of the Unlock Youth: Systemic Strengthening of Youth Services in Preparation for the EU Youth Guarantee in Ukraine Project, implemented by ISAR Ednannia in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Youth Center, with the support of UNICEF Ukraine and financial support from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ) through the German Development Bank (KfW).

The training laid the foundation for the sustainable operation of the All-Ukrainian Youth Center and for the development of a nationwide network of youth centers. In the future, basic MIST training will be conducted throughout Ukraine. Today, we have taken an important step by preparing the team that will deliver them.

Following the training, a pool of 20 qualified trainers was formed. They will work with youth centers and contribute to strengthening their activities. This is a significant milestone toward building sustainable mechanisms and an effective youth infrastructure.

The training program was developed by ISAR Ednannia’s experts, Oksana Malchenko and Andriy Donets, to whom we extend our sincere gratitude for their professionalism, dedication, and systematic approach. The trainer’s handbook they created is highly relevant, comprehensive, and filled with practical tools, which is why we decided to make it publicly accessible. It will soon be published for broad use. Anyone working with young people will benefit from this valuable methodological resource.

The ISAR Ednannia team is proud to contribute to the development of the MIST program and to support its advancement at the national level. We highly value our cooperation with the All-Ukrainian Youth Center in designing this training and in our shared efforts to strengthen Ukraine's youth infrastructure.

These are only the first steps, but they lay the foundation for long-term change. We continue to work, strengthen the community, and support those who develop youth services across the country every day.
