The first training wave of the Recovery and Development Consultants program, which ran from September to November, has concluded. 20 participants completed an intensive journey that combined in-depth learning, practical tasks, and the formation of a community of people working on recovery and development in their local areas. Over this period, a core group of consultants emerged − professionals ready to support local teams in complex development processes.
Over several months, participants mastered strategic planning, analytics, facilitation approaches, communication, project management tools, and the basics of European integration. They worked with practical cases and learned to apply their knowledge in real situations. A dedicated component of the training focused on trust and mutual support − essential elements for consultants working closely with communities.
The first wave demonstrated that a community of consultants is already taking shape. Participants now have a better understanding of the needs of their communities and know how to apply modern approaches to recovery at the local level. Their continued work will help communities move toward European standards of planning, transparency, participation, and sustainable development. These are the specialists who will support European integration processes on the ground and make them understandable and practical.
ISAR Ednannia expresses its sincere gratitude to every participant for their engagement, persistence, and eagerness to grow. We also extend our special thanks to the Dobra Dolia Interactive Learning Association for developing the training content and for the excellent work of the trainer team.
New training waves, mentorship support, and the application of knowledge in communities lie ahead. Recovery advances thanks to individuals who collaborate closely with communities and support their development.
The training is conducted within the framework of the EU Unity4Community project, implemented by ISAR Ednannia, funded by the European Union.
