On 5 December, at the XIV Civil Society Forum, we will discuss what shapes the future of a country fighting for its very existence while remaining committed to democratic principles.

While we may not know what tomorrow’s external conditions will be, we do know what we are fighting for and what is essential to endure: trust, partnership, responsibility, and the ability to make difficult, yet honest, decisions.

That is why one of the key blocks of the Pulse of Civil Society section is titled “Many Hands Make Light Work” and will include:

  • Case story on No One Stands Alone: The Power of Partnership, highlighting how partnerships save communities, strengthen resilience, and create the country’s home-front armor,  featuring representatives of the Relief Coordination Center, MHP-Gromadi Foundation, Starlight Media, and the Fiscal Policy Research Center.
  • Panel discussion hosted by the Foundation for Democracy Assistance, with the participation of Serhiy Kvit, President of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Yuriy Honcharenko, head of the InfoLight.UA analytical group, Andrii Yusov from the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, and Zinaida Averina, co-coordinator of the People with Cardboard Signs Movement.
  • Discussion on the Ethics of Cross-Sector Cooperation by the Other Approach NGO.
  • Panel discussion by ISAR Ednannia on public policies for civil society and how to move them from being a mere box-ticking exercise to becoming real mechanisms that shape the country’s development.

We invite you to join a conversation where the future of Ukraine is being shaped today. We need strong institutions, responsible citizens, and partnerships that work for victory and for the defense of democracy.

Registration for participants will be open until 30 November.

Registration for media will be open until 1 December.
