Russia’s full-scale invasion has made one thing clear: technology is not only about development, but also about survival. Ukrainian solutions on the battlefield save lives every day, and cooperation between business, the state, volunteers, and civil society organizations is shaping a new architecture of national defense. We will talk about this at the XIV Civil Society Forum on 5 December during the public discussion on New Architecture of Defence Capability: Business, Science, and Civil Society.
During the discussion, organized jointly with the think tank We Build Ukraine, we will explore how Ukraine’s technological industry is transforming the battlefield, what is needed to develop a military-tech ecosystem, how to enhance cooperation between the private sector, defense forces, and civil society, and why innovation is becoming key to saving lives and achieving future victory.
Speakers:
- Maria Berlinska, Head of Victory Drones, veteran.
- Yaroslav Azhnyuk, founder of defense companies The Fourth Law and Odd Systems.
- Roman “Fish”, commander of the UAV strike company of “Lasar’s group” of the National Guard of Ukraine.
- Kateryna Mykhalko, Executive Director of Technological Forces of Ukraine.
- Oleksandr Kubrakov, founder and head of We Build Ukraine.
The discussion will be moderated by Anton Melnyk, co-founder of MITS Capital.
Join us to look at Ukraine’s defense through the lens of technology, partnerships, and shared responsibility.
