During the XIV Civil Society Forum (with) Stand, a panel discussion on Strategic (Un)certainty: How to Make Decisions about the Future in Times of Turbulence took place. The discussion was organized in partnership with UNDP Ukraine.
Participants explored how to plan development in a world of constant change, particularly against the backdrop of war, technological breakthroughs, climate crises, and threats to democracy. Special attention was given to the Ukrainian context: how to think 10 steps ahead when the horizon of uncertainty is constantly shifting, and how to move from strategy as a document to strategy as a culture of action.
The discussion brought together Oleksii Zhmerynetskyi, Co-Chair of the Inter-Factional Association of Members of Parliament of Ukraine ‘Strategic Foresight of Ukraine’; Nataliia Kryvda, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor at the Department of Ukrainian Philosophy and Culture at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and Chair of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation; and Yevhen Hlibovytskyi, Director of the Frontier Institute, member of the Supervisory Board of Suspilne Ukraine, and lecturer at UCU. The panel was moderated by Natalia Sokolenko, journalist at Ukrainian Radio.
The recording of the panel discussion is available on the ISAR Ednannia YouTube channel:
