Over two days, 19 teams of civil society organizations from frontline regions worked on strengthening their knowledge and practical skills in project design and management.

Participants focused on the key stages of developing high-quality project proposals. The work covered identifying real community problems, stakeholder analysis, building intervention logic, defining indicators and risks, budgeting, and working with the project’s logical framework. The training combined theoretical inputs with intensive practice, teamwork, and discussion of real cases.

The second module marked an important step in moving from ideas to action. Next, the teams will develop full project proposals and proceed to implement initiatives rooted in the real needs of people and communities.
The training module was delivered by trainers Nataliia Klymova and Olha Nikolska. Their expertise, high standards, and ability to combine methodological clarity with the lived realities of communities created a safe and productive learning environment.

🧩 The program was designed to support newly established civil society and charitable organizations that seek to develop systematically and contribute to the country’s recovery. It helps overcome key start-up barriers, including a lack of experience in grant application writing and limited knowledge of legal and management areas.

🇳🇴🇸🇪 The program is implemented by the Askold and Dir Fund and administered by ISAR Ednannia within the project “Strong Civil Society of Ukraine a Driver of Reforms and Democracy,” funded by Norway and Sweden.
