The selection of projects within the second wave of the grant competition for CSOs “GROW: Grassroots Recovery & Opportunities for Wellbeing” has been completed.
The competition is aimed at supporting communities in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions in recovery processes, strengthening social cohesion, and developing local services and opportunities for residents.
The competition supports initiatives working on intergenerational interaction, access to essential services, economic activation of communities, safety, and the creation of spaces for social cohesion.
Particular attention during the selection process was given to projects that promote community engagement, strengthen partnerships between CSOs, local authorities, and other stakeholders, and contribute to sustainable solutions for communities affected by the war.
We thank all organisations that submitted applications and joined the competition. Soon, the winning teams will begin implementing their initiatives within their communities.
The competition is implemented by ISAR Ednannia within the framework of the “EU Unity for Community (EU U4C) Project”, co-funded by the European Union and Minderoo Foundation.
