Held on the eve of Ukraine’s Independence Day, the Forum is a space to reflect on the strength of those who defend, rebuild, and transform. This year’s Forum is not only an opportunity to hear the voices of the veteran community, but it is also a platform for bold ideas, open dialogue with the state, and shaping a shared vision for the future.

Each year, Chevening offers leaders from around the world the chance to receive full funding for one year of study, which covers:
• Tuition fees for a Master’s studies.

• Airfare and other costs related to relocation and study.

We invite civil society organizations to participate in the new Towards Life: Communities in Action Grant Competition. The competition aims to support the resilience of communities affected by the war and to contribute to their recovery.
This competition is implemented by the Norwegian-Swedish Askold and Dir Fund, administered by ISAR Ednannia as a part of the Strong Civil Society of Ukraine − a Driver Towards Reforms and Democracy project, funded by Norway and Sweden.
Within this competition, approximately 20–30 civil society organizations will receive support. The competition includes six lots. For all lots, the maximum budget is:
Applications for this grant competition will be accepted until 5:00 PM on July 28, 2025.
Organizations that meet the eligibility criteria will have the opportunity to receive financial support to implement initiatives aimed at strengthening the vitality and adaptability of local communities to new challenges.

Friends, if your organization has research ideas that can strengthen the civil society sector in Ukraine, we invite you to apply for the second wave of the grant competition KNOWLEDGE IN ACTION: Strengthening CSOs' Research Capacities.
This competition is held within the Norwegian-Swedish Askold and Dir Fund, administered by ISAR Ednannia and funded by Norway and Sweden.
Grant competition includes two lots:
• Researching to support reforms, recovery, democratic development, and a favorable environment for CSOs.
• Strengthening the institutional capacity of CSOs in the field of research and analytics.
Priority will be given to initiatives that:
• Contribute to effective decision-making in the areas of reform, recovery, or democratic development.
• Develop tools for monitoring and analyzing public policy, with a focus on openness, accountability, and civic participation.
• Incorporate innovative approaches, such as foresight studies, public audits, social mapping, data analysis, etc.
• Provide training and consultations on modern methods of data collection, analysis, and visualization
• Implement research manager development programs, including training and mentoring support.
