ISAR Ednannia, with support from the Australian Minderoo Foundation, is launching a new initiative — GROW: Grassroots Recovery & Opportunities for Wellbeing. This marks our first collaboration with a private initiative from Australia, which we hope will grow into a long-term partnership.

Minderoo Foundation is an Australian philanthropic organization founded in 2001 by Andrew and Nicola Forrest, with a mission to create a fairer future. The Foundation works towards reducing inequality and driving positive change by supporting communities, protecting the environment, and promoting equity.

The GROW Project will focus on supporting communities in frontline and de-occupied areas across five oblasts: Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv oblasts. Its goal is to strengthen local resilience, restore social infrastructure, and support the well-being of people in communities.

As part of the Project:

  • We will map needs, resources, and stakeholders in the target communities.
  • 50 local initiatives will receive grants for recovery efforts.
  • 200 community members receive training in alternative income generation.
  • Local CSOs will receive mentoring and organizational support to help them better address existing challenges.
  • CSOs' communication will strengthen their capacity and create 20 stories of local activism.

We are joining forces with the Minderoo Foundation to help Ukrainian communities heal from the consequences of war and begin building a better future today.
