XIII Civil Society Development Forum: Time to Gather Again

The Civil Society Development Forum is back! We have missed each other — the meetings, conversations, and support.

We need to gather again and share what weighs on our hearts, discuss our future, reflect on what we have achieved over the past year, shed a tear, hug, support, regroup, and figure out the next steps.

This year, we will meet on December 5, International Volunteer Day, because this day belongs to us: the creative, proactive, dedicated, and united. People who have proven through their actions that ‘Ukraine is above all’ is not just a phrase. People who know the joy of a simple, short message ‘+’. We have much to discuss and much to plan for the future.

Online Workshops for Veteran Civil Society Organizations - Grant Writing: How to Turn an Idea into a Competitive Project Proposal

Veteran organizations constantly face the challenge of securing additional funding. So, how can an interesting idea be transformed into a project proposal with strong chances of success that attracts international and private donors?

ISAR Ednannia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, continues its practical training for veteran and pro-veteran civil society organizations. Participants will learn how to identify suitable donors and write successful grant applications. The training will help to define project problems and goals, set realistic expectations, and forecast tangible outcomes. Participants will also receive personalized feedback from trainer Nataliya Muzyka, Head of the Association of Mothers and Wives of Ukraine’s Defenders.

Date and Time: October 2 and 4, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Location: Zoom or YouTube stream (available only to registered participants).

Host of the ISAR Ednannia Heroes' Backbone Professional Fundraisers' Summit – Kateryna Trushyk

The Heroes' Backbone Professional Fundraisers' Summit, organized by ISAR Ednannia, kicks off tomorrow! The event will be hosted by Kateryna Trushyk, a renowned Ukrainian journalist, TV presenter, scriptwriter, producer, and creator of popular TV and talk shows.

When the full-scale invasion began, Kateryna was forced to temporarily relocate to Israel with her children, fleeing her occupied hometown, Bucha. There, she spearheaded a powerful volunteer movement and organized charity events that raised hundreds of thousands of hryvnias to support Ukraine. She also actively promoted Ukraine's interests in diplomatic circles. Today, Kateryna leads the communications and development department at the Tvoya Opora Charitable Foundation.
